This Walk is for the purpose of supporting the cutting-edge neuromuscular disease research being conducted at the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) and Hadassah's Goldyne Savad Institute of Gene Therapy in Israel. Hadassah is at the forefront of embryonic cell stem research, which has the potential to treat and cure serious chronic neuromuscular diseases plaguing over a one hundred million Americans, Associations such as the ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Parkinson's Disease, Dystonia Foundation, and others are joining with Hadassah on May 5th for this Walk.
